Young Readers love reading poetry on Bookly (Mxit)

When I first heard about the launch of bookly, an ebook reader app on Mxit, I was super excited. Young people are on Mxit and they are always on the phone – and Black Letter Media wants to reach it’s readers on whatever platform suits them. Having our poetry on bookly has been one great move.

Today, I received my regular update from Levon at bookly and it is EXCITING! We have a selection of poems published in Poetry Potion between 2007 & 2008 as well as A Poem A Day freely available on bookly.

Poetry Potion has over 6557 reads and is # 6 on the top 10 of most read books
A Poem A Day almost 4868 reads and is # 9

*does a jig*

I expect the numbers to grow as more young readers discover the bookly app.

My Holiday Shorts is about to come out soon, that will be available on bookly and I’ll be submitting more poetry. I’m excited to see how the young readers receive the new content.

Thanks to bookly for this awesome platform. And congratulations on winning the “Best Startup award at the FutureBook Innovation awards in London.

I look forward to sharing more of our poetry and stories on bookly.
