Zukiswa Warner and Hardly Working at Kingsmead Book Fair!

After successful book events in Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Harare, Nairobi and Berlin, Zukiswa Wanner is taking Hardly Working: A Travel Memoir of Sorts to the Kingsmead Book Fair.

The 2018 Kingsmead Book Fair takes place this Saturday, 12 May at Kingsmead College in Rosebank. The programme runs from 9:30 till 5pm and will feature authors from all over the world including Ayọ̀bámi Adébáyọ̀, Malebo Sephodi, Achmat Dangor, Nozizwe Cynthia Jele, and many more.

Zukiswa will be speaking on the following panel:

It is said the aim of satire is the moral reform of society. Christopher Hope (The Café de Move-On Blues), Angela Makholwa (The Blessed Girl) and Zukiswa Wanner (Hardly Working: A Travel Memoir of Sorts), on their relish for ridicule. Cartoonist Carlos Amato eggs them on.
